blinking light on my variax usb connector guitar side?

With the help of an amazing tech I was able to get workbench working on a windows 10 computer.  the usb is connected and i have a green light on the computer side and a red light on the side of my guitar that connects to my 700 any ideas?

Do you have batteries installed and a guitar cable plugged into the Variax?  

 

I think XPS power supply will power too but I always connect to USB on batteries in order to simplify wiring.

Are you connecting through the Line 6 Variax dongle? The blinking light means your dongle isn't communicating or connecting to your computer software. May need to run Line 6 Monkey and make sure everything is correct....

any solution about the usb connection ?.I updated everything, variax to usb does not work. win 10 1903.

Guitarside blinking red, with batterie inside or not...

i have the same problem. I have a legacy variax 500 which im looking at connecting to  workbench  (non HD)  but i keep getting a flashing red light on the side of my USB interface unit connecting to the Variax . (The computer side connection has a steady green light. New batteries installed in my Variax so its not a battery problem. Any ideas?
