Merlin5150
Hi, Are there differences between the Spider V 240 Vs. the Spider V MKII 240? Getting ready to pick one up! Jeff
phil_m
The only differences are cosmetic - different silk screening and knobs. Beyond that, the hardware is exactly the same.
Merlin5150
Good to know that! thanks for answering Phil!
gtrman100
The hardware is the same, but the software is different! Very important because the new software includes the "Classic" mode which makes the amp sound more like a traditional combo amp. You can buy a Spider V MkI and download the new software to make it identical sounding to a MkII.
Merlin5150
So, as long as I update the firmware, the MKI will have the same amps, cabs ect......
