firehawkkwah
Is there any lag or silence when turning an effect on or off? In the Firehawk there's a noticeable gap when switching amp models, but no gap when turning stomp on or off. Hoping the m9 can work just like a stomp with no gap?! silverhead
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by 'switching amp models' but that is normally done by switching presets. And yes, there is a noticeable delay when switching presets. Also, as you say, there is no delay when turning FX blocks on/off within a preset. It's the preset switching that takes time because internal memory is being reloaded with a new preset definition. The M9 uses the concept of 'scenes' rather than presets. I'm not 100% sure but I expect the behaviour would be analogous. I would expect a short audio dropout (not as long as the Firehawk due to less complexity) when switching scenes but not when turning FX on/off within a scene.
