DT25 clicks and pops when playing

Recommended Posts

I've got a consistent click/pop that comes from the amp's speaker when playing.   Not loud, but noticeable.  The popping resembles if you weren't playing and you touched your strings with your fingers and there's a little static-like pop.  However, it ONLY does this while playing.  Alot.  (And never on beat which is extra annoying.)

Also, I'm using the direct out and I get my sound in my in-ear monitor and in my ear there is no clicking or popping while I'm playing.

Ideas?

Solutions?

Are you using Line 6 Link, 110-Ohm cable or regular 50-Ohm mic cable?

Impedance matters with this. It requires XLR type, 110-Ohm AES/EBU cable.

Yes i am using a DMX cable

PD Connex DMX hmm the store i bought it on said 110 ohm i just googled and it says 120 ohm on some sites dont know if those 10 ohms really made a difference?

As it pops and clicks when i remove the cable and plug the guitar into the input jack aswell pretty sure its the tubes

What is really strange is when i tested the amp in the store some weeks before they shiped it to me (i bought it on their webshop) it didnt pop and click so it might have been the shipping hmm
