pianoguyy Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 remind me not to fall asleep while typing. i wake up and there's all kinds of posts that weren't there when I started. there isn't a "factory reset" in the common sense it is probably my least favorite thing about the unit but there is a "process" that us users refer to as 'factory reset' it basically boils down to 2 things we do all the time, but done at the same time a firmware flash and a global reset (which requires a pedal calibration on the 500 and 500x) it will restore the unit, including presets, to factory new *note: 'factory new' is technically wrong, because units don't ship (to my knowledge) with the latest firmware. and the patches have changed with the various firmware versions.
