Recording PodGo Using Bandlab's Cakewalk

Recommended Posts

Hi -

Has anyone recorded guitar tracks on Cakewalk, using PodGo? What is the basic routing workflow?

I can get a signal into Cakewalk, but cannot playback? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I tried to use bandlab but it just wouldn't work properly, either because there is an instability in the program or it just wasn't compatible with Pod Go. When I did get it to record it would be corrupted and play back at half speed, and when I paused recording it wouldn't let me carry on. So,  I dumped it and I'm using Audacity now, which is great and works perfectly with Pod Go.

For another point of view, I’ve had no problems using my POD Go with Cakewalk by Bandlab. But over the years I have heard of many problems using Line 6 devices with ASIO4ALL which is the default (and non-compliant) ASIO driver used by Audacity.

Please provide more details on your equipment and setup. What is connected to what, and how, from your guitar’s audio out jack to your monitors/speakers.

Related question - Trying out Audacity with Pod Go, INput and output devices are set to Pod Go, but Audacity is only picking up my laptop mic, not sounds from the Pod Go.  Any ideas?  Newbie at DAWs etc.

Thanks!
