ludum
Hi, I've bought a used JTV-69 and some weeks later I realised that not having the special usb cable/workbench interface is actually a problem.. anyway.. I was charging the battery with the original charger and now I lost it. I have plenty of Sony NP-F batteries (which I know will not work with the JTV) but my question is if I can use the generic charger to charge the Variax battery? Thanks in advance! psarkissian
No! Don't do that. Different capacity, different charge/discharge rates. Always use the official devices, they are made to be optimally compatible, use ONLY official Line 6 chargers with Variax guitars.
jvt59
Hi Where can I buy a charger that fits the outlets in Europe (not UK)? I have a Variax JTV59. / Rgds
psarkissian
Check your local retailer or the Line 6 web store. https://shop.line6.com/accessories/guitar-accessories/jtv-variax-battery-charger-kit.html
jvt59
Thanks but when I try to open the link you shared I get: "Whoops, our bad... The page you requested was not found, and we have a fine guess why.... etc
psarkissian
Oh, you are outside the US. You logged a support ticket in your account,... good. They should be able to point to someone in your region who can assist you.
jvt59
Ok, but they are still produced? As long as they are produced I'm pretty sure I will be able to order one from some place. It's a bit surprising that there are no accessories in the shop - at least not visible to me. Maybe due to some geo-location limitation? Yes? psarkissian
Correct. Easier to ship items from the Euro hub than the US hub.
