MKII with Shortboard

Recommended Posts

I bought an MKII HD100 and already had a shortboard.

I am still trying to learn the amp and line 6 line so I failed to realize the MKII had a looper and who knows what else I missed VS an MKI.

Should I be hunting for a FBV Shortboard MKII?

is there software I can download to make my own presets etc?

any advice or suggestions to get the most out of this amp will be appreciated.

ok I must be stupid or blind. I went to the download page and didn't see anything stating it worked with the HD100MkII or the FBV MKII.

I am trying to make sure my amp and floorboard are up to date and start editing the amp.

is there something I am missing?

I also googled trying to download "Monkey' with no luck

You need the FBV MKII hooked up to your SV MKII in order to communicate with a computer. The FBV is what does the talking to the computer.

There may also be a way with a MIDISPORT Uno like I had to use for my Vetta II HD that you can do but that is a whole other ballgame.

By the way the built in looper in the SV MKII is only 14 seconds long, nothing to get too excited about ;-)
