BeeShoo
I was trying the experiment with the snapshot features, and had an awful time getting back to the “old way”. Honestly, I was in a panic, as I have a lot of gigs coming up. Can the two modes (standard mode and snapshot mode) coexist on a single helix?
brue58ski
So I'm not totally clear what you are asking. I think you are asking if both Snapshots and "Stomps" can appear at the same time. The answer is yes. You can assign any of the footswitches to practically anything in "Stomp" mode. See page 58 of the manual to see how to assign them to a Snapshots. Assigning them to FX is still done the same way as far as I know. If you wan this on the main screen, there are several different modes that those footswitches can have. See page 66 in the Helix manual under Global Settings > Footswitches #2.
Ilya-V
Yes, in "Global Settings" at "Preset Mode Switches" you can mix Snapshots/Stomp/Preset. Or you can use the Command Center to mix just about everything with everything in the Helix.
firehawkkwah
Yes. I have one preset that if you go into stomp mode will show 4 stomp, 3 snaps, and even another preset. It's pretty cool to be able to set it up like that through command center.
