"Knobs"(or "encoders", abbreviated to "Enc") being the key point to bring attention to there. I can see how that first graphic in the OP's post could have been a potential source of confusion as knobs 5&6 are grouped under the big red block labeled "11" in that image. This means that test menu always been there, just "hidden" under Home+Amp buttons (5/6 in the L6 graphic) while booting.
