AbenezerD
Hello guys, I just updated my HX stomp and I've been trying to import old backed up presets (not a backup file) it just erases the destination preset without importing the new one. has this ever happened to any one of you? silverhead
What exactly do you mean by ‘erases the destination preset’? What do you see in the preset after the import fails? In HX Edit are you using the Import function or drag/drop?

Check in HX Edit under 'Help' --> 'About HX Edit'. Are you running HX Edit 3.10 with the 3.11 firmware? One possible cause of the import failing is the wrong version of HX Edit. Hi, I also find this post is a little vague - not sure if this refers to something which happens in HX Edit or your HX Stomp. Just to clarify the statement - “it just erases the destination preset without importing the new one.” Do you mean that you already have presets available in HX Edit but when you try to load them into your HX Stomp they are erasing the destination preset on the hardware? If you mean you cannot load the presets into HX Edit, then follow the suggestion from “HonestOpinion” in the post above - ensure you using the correct version. If you are having this happen on the Stomp, a Factory Restore might fix it - hold down FS 2+3 while turning the power on - no guarantees, but worth a shot as you already have backup files. Hope this helps/makes sense.
