dextersweb
I thought the Remote app has comments stating it could be used without the Amplifi amp. When I connect my guitar to my iPhone, it isn't recognized in the app. It would be nice to try the system prior to spending that much money. phil_m
The app doesn't process the guitar tone at all. That's all done in the amp. You can open up the app and see the editor functions, and you can play songs from your music library (as long as the songs reside on your phone's physical drive). jockeralex
i want to make a stupid question but really i'm little confused... if i have my amplifi and i chose to play a suggested tone from the app and as i' m playing the guitar part, during the song the guitar effects change often or change the channel from clean to overdrive for example...this changes become automaticaly or this should be done by me somehow ??? Rowbi
They would have to be done by you. The app chooses a few tones that best fit the song you're playing - so long as the son is well known. You then load the tone you want from that list it finds and play. The app doesn't auto switch tones for you mid song.
jockeralex
thank you for your anser and what i have to do when i want to add a specific effect in the middle of the song?
bilbosmeggins
You can assign four different tones to the tone banks on the amp. You can then use a footswitch to manually change between the four.

mkeenan_13
You do have an Amplifi 75 or 150 right? You didn't specifically say you had... Yeah, I have a spider.IV
Shakey64
But you don't have the specific set of amps this app was designed for so you cannot link amplifi remote app with your spider amp.
