wobrien54
Can different amp models be used within the same snapshot of a tone? for example, for the song creep by Radiohead I would like a nice clean tone with some Chorus and delay within Snapchat 1, then kick into that obnoxious distortion which I would set up on snapshot 4. I found a good clean tone to use for snapshot one and then I have a good distortion tone for Snapchat 4 but they use different amps... silverhead
You can’t switch the amp model using snapshots in a preset. Nor can you do it with any other FX block. The blocks and model selections are defined by the preset, not by snapshots. You would need to use the same amp model for both a clean and dirty tone. You would need to include both amp blocks in the preset, turning one on and the other off as you switch snapshots. Edit: Sorry. Just noticed you’re talking about the Pod Go which isn’t capable of using two amp blocks.
voxman55
But in truth there's a huge amount you can do with a single amp model and distortion blocks. Purely for fun I experimented a while back with the Soldano clean amp with a view to making a multi purpose patch via snap shots and stomp options ie kicking in chorus. The patch is on Custom Tone and I made a brief demo going from funk and jazz tones then to mild breakup and then up to Led Zep and Rush rock tones.
