Not able to access certain pedels

While trying to add some reverb to one of my tones, I found that I can’t access all of the different pedals within the pod go, for instance I accidentally switched out my distortion pedal, I had it on the screamer pedal, then I cannot get it (Screamer pedal) to highlight so I can click back on it and included within the chain ,

I may have done something within the global settings I was wondering if someone could help?

You may be hitting the DSP limits of the POD Go. When that happens, blocks become greyed out meaning that they can’t be added to the preset because there is not sufficient processing capacity in the device to accommodate them. In that case you will need to remove or replace other blocks in the preset to make room for the new block.

There are plenty of discussion in this forum about DSP allocation and constraints. Search for them if interested in further information on this topic.

You've simply come up against the DSP ( digital signal processing) limit. You've selected options that use up a lot of DSP, and the greyouts  in Pod Go simply tell you that you don't have enough processing power to run those options.

If you want them you'll have to choose different options in your current selections. For example if you've chosen a jumped amp model, spring reverb or Horizon drive, these use up a lot of processing power.

Seems to me you've got a bit of research to do so you can understand how Pod Go works. This includes reading the manual, watching Pod Go vids on youtube, and looking at the Pod Go DSP useage charts published by Benvesco.

In the latter, it's not fully up to date for v1.30 Pod Go but it will show you how much each of your selections costs in terms of DSP %. Look in the Pod Go columns, here:

Thanks Silverhead And Voxman55, you guys are awesome, you were both right, I hit the DSP wall, I looked into the DSP limits when I made the choice to buy the pod go instead of the helix, or the helix hx, and I recall it saying something to the effect that the DSP chip was 85% in the pod go as compared to the helix (100%)  I forgot about that  aspect of the pod go , I didn’t think it would be a big deal, and to be honest -it’s not, I play out about once a month and the pod go will fit all my needs for bar room gigging.
Voxman55 thanks for the link, and I will definitely watch some more videos, I’m just more of a hands-on guy, and it is easier for me to ask a question on the forum when I run into a problem, I feel like I have a good handle on the pod go at this point, but knowledge definitely is power, as it turns out, my ( beach balls) were too big, lol
