gitbukpluk
I have been working with helix for about 3 years now. I love the programming side of this box almost as much as playing my guitar thru it. When I began with Helix it wasn't as easy to use up DSP power like I do now More DSP could really expand my creativity because i can only take my ideas so far at this time How about additional DSP provided thru the usb port on the unit possibly to a card, drive, or computer? Or maybe a boutique upgrade to bigger and badder processors. I realize this may not be for everyone but, i can't be the only one with this issue. Thank you Jim
codamedia
Not going to happen..... When Line 6 releases a new "flagship" product it will surely contain more DSP, until then - you will need to learn how to optimize your presets. There is NOTHING the public is aware of that suggests a new product is in the near future - so don't bet on it anytime soon. The sad reality is.... once people are given more DSP, they will quickly consume it and begin the cycle of wanting more DSP once again. Optimization is critical. 1
DunedinDragon
Just so you understand, DSP is an integrated specialized processor on the Helix board so that it can work at full buss speeds just like the CPU in your computer. It's not something that you can plug in and play since latency would be a HUGE issue with anything like that.
bobcoss
You could buy a new or used HX Effects or Stop and chain them together!
