pierpatrip
I'd like to express my full satisfaction for the new Ventoux! I find it very versatile, so I got immediately very round cleans and beefy and harmonically rich saturated tones. I pair it with a matchless g12h30 r121 IR (but I'll accept more correct suggestions about what kind of IR/Cab could be more suitable, although I suppose that this all-round amp can work fine with too many cabs). I express my sincere gratitude to Ben Adrian and to the L6 staff for this new awesome improvement. Thanks!!!

craiganderton
I agree with @pierpatrip's comment, this is a cool amp. I also like that it's something different. I'm finding that the key to making Ventoux do your bidding is to understand the "tone" controls. They're quite different from the usual tone stacks. They seem more like frequency-selective gain controls, so you're controlling more aspects of the sound than just tone.

Cabs with pronounced upper midrange in general: Alnicos and Celestion H speakers... I.e: Jensen P12Q / C12Q Celestion G12H30 / G12H75 JBL D120
