OpenSkyRecords
Hi I'm a long time Helix Floor used and am up to date on that with v 3.15. I just bought Helix Native and downloaded it from the sale page. The default seemed to be v1.0 so I downloaded that. It works fine in my DAW (Digital Performer 10). I then went back to find and download the Native 3.15 update, so I could use the latest amps & fx etc. I downloaded it (it says 3.15 on the dmg), but when I was installing it, I noticed it says it's 1.0 in the installation process and when I re-opened it in Digital Performer, it still says it's v 1.0. I'm baffled. How do I update Native to v 3.15 (Mac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra)? Thanks, Dave
phil_m
This happens sometimes on Macs. Go and delete the old installation packages from your Downloads folder and make sure the old Native installer is deleted from your Desktop. Then you can try downloading the latest version again. If you use Firefox to download your files, when the alert pops up asking - "What should Firefox do with this file", click the radio button "Save File" - DO NOT let it make the decision about handling the unpacking of the files. You can download using Safari without this happening, or try another browser Hope this helps/makes sense.

I have even downloaded V1 to see if 3.5 is an update file only (??? is it? 59 mb?) - and it is exactly the same install size (24.1mb) - not uninstalled size) It looks like the wrong file has been placed there. and I am gutted - because the ticket I put in is going to take a few days. IF I get a response. Can anyone help me? I need the current 3.5 installer - I am on an M1. Blimey Line 6. The VST3/ AU is dated 11 August 2017! Can anyone Help Me? It is a bit urgent. Thank You anyway all of you. Here are some pics: T Xx

It would appear from your screenshot that the version of Helix Native in your VST3 folder has not been updated, as indicated by the date created/modified time stamp of 11th August 2017 at 12.39am. I suggest that you need to remove the older installation completely then do a clean install of the latest version: For a full run down of how to do this - please read the details supplied by “guilhermebreda” in this thread from the Helix Native forum on here, posted February 18th. Hope this helps/makes sense.

This is EXACTLY what is being installed. I just don't understand it at all - although yes: M1. I was reading it earlier.Thank you though. T. EDIT: I have it working - I cleaned it all out AGAIN, and reinstalled - this time it works Fine. I noticed there were a couple of mounted dmg's that did not show up in the finder "side Bar" to the left, but only show in the finder "proper". Anyway - my brain REALLY hertz now, as I can not explain the above images. WHY??WHY?? Time to clone a copy of my ssd. Thanks any and all who were reading this. T. Xx Edited April 3, 2022 by Togril it is all working for no logical reason.
