boynigel Posted March 31, 2023 Share Posted March 31, 2023 I'd been trying to get the LT to change channels on my Bad Cat amps to no avail. Pulled out my Suhr PT15 (non-IR) to see if i could get it to work. Sort of. Following instruction from the manual, i can get the LT to change the amp's channels, but it will only switch between channels 2 and 3. I can't access channel 1 on the amp. I know it can be done though because i saw Pete Thorn do it with his HX Effects in a video. All 3 channels. Unfortunately, said video wasn't a setup how-to video. rd2rk Posted April 1, 2023 Share Posted April 1, 2023 The HXFX has two Ext Amp/Exp Pedal jacks. The LT has only one. With the PT15, it being his signature amp, he probably knows a trick to make it work, probably requiring using both jacks on his HXFX. As for the Bad Cat, knowing the model might be helpful, but I suspect it will be a similar solution. PT frequents the D&M forum on TGP, you might try asking over there. I didn't want to bug him for a "tutorial" so i just asked him to clarify if it could be done with a single TRS cable. He confirmed that it could "definitely" be done with a TRS. He said that one switch goes between channel one and two and the second switch goes between 2/3.
