I'm switching over a bunch of presets from stereo to mono but when I try to set the output block to Center (and then saving), when I leave the preset and come back, it's changed back to Left 100. Is this something the unit does because it recognizes that I'm in mono, and typically mono is output through the Left? Thing is, when I change the output block from 100 Left, to the Center setting, I gain a fair amount of volume increase which is kind of nice. weird that it's kicking me back to 100% Left, even after I save it to Center. No. Is it possible that you're located on a Ley Line? I get why you might want to change from stereo to mono for use with a mono amp, but why did you set it to Left in your STEREO presets in the first place??? Are you making and saving these changes on the HW or in HX Edit? It shouldn't make any difference, but from time to time I've suspected that changes made and saved on the HW don't "take". Yeah, changes were made on the LT itself. Will try via Edit when i get home. To test this I have just changed a heap of presets from stereo to mono, and even created a few from scratch in mono only on my Helix floor - I cannot recreate your issue. Whatever output I select, Multi, XLR or 1/4" Jack - same result - Mono right up the middle, both level indicators green. As noted by @rd2rk it might be a simple hardware glitch. Try a factory reset.
