HELLO there friends,

i have a little query regarding the headphone port in my POD hd500, Whenever i plugin my AKG studio monitoring headphone to my device only one side of it is working.  The jack in 6.35mm and the headphone is brand new and works with other devices very well..So can anyone please tell me if there is any configuration to be done on the POD itself to get my headphone supported ???

Thanks

Unless the signal of the preset you're using is panned all to one side, you should normally hear both the left and right channels.
Maybe POD's headphone jack is dirty or oxidized.
(Have you also tried with a different pair of headphones?)

Try wiggling the connector back and forth when it's inserted in to see if doing so re-establishes the connection to the missing channel.
If your AKG headphones use a small to large jack adapter (very likely) make sure it is stereo i.e. as in the following image (you can see 2 rings):

PS:

If by any chance you are using the single input approach (i.e. with input2=variax or any source other than input1) in a new empty patch it is normal that you will only hear the left side, at least until you add something mono in the chain such as an effect or an amp..
