HAMERMAN409
Is there a way to assign a footswitch so that the effect is only enabled while the footswitch is being pressed (and then turns back off when the footswitch is released)? HAMERMAN409
OK - thanks for confirming. Would be a nice feature to add in the future since it probably wouldn't require additional DSP or anything like that.

So I was just wondering what would happen if you connected a latching foot-switch (I don't have one to try) - would it (a) behave the same as a momentary (in which case why would you need a momentary switch?) (b) not work or work unreliably/oddly, or (c) act in reverse like a momentary switch?
silverhead
Here’s a snip from the manual pg 7 discussing the rear panel hardware I/O, confirming your note re: design. I suspect your answer is (b) but like you I can’t test it. For external footswitches, the momentary (unlatched) type should be used.
theElevators
You can assign effects to the expression pedal 1/2. Bypass/un-bypass blocks either immediately or after up to 1 second.
