Detgyver
Hello, I'm a new Helix user and I'm looking for a guide that explains how to assign Midi-CC commands to the bottom four footswitches (8-11) to control the Steinberg VSTLive software. I found an older Youtube tutorial, but the instructions shown there do not match the current firmware 3.60.
silverhead
The Helix manual has a section called Command Centre that provides this info on the Helix side of the MIDI connection. But you will also have to configure your DAW’s VST Live (plugin?) to recognize Helix as a MIDI device. And depending on what you are trying to accomplish, perhaps create a MIDI Automation track in your DAW project.
