Restoring from Helix Floor presets

Hi all.  Wanted to give the Helix Native thing a try.  Simple question: how do I restore all the presets from my Helix Floor backup?  Is it possible?  If so, how do I bring up the "Files / Restore From File" menu?

I don’t believe Helix Native understands Helix Backup files but it does understand Helix Bundle files when in Helix Floor compatibility mode. Use HX Edit to create a Helix Bundle and then import it as described on pg 25 of the Helix Native manual. IRs are not included in Helix bundles so if you use them they will need to be imported separately.

Hi,

 

While you are in Helix Native, click on the “Question Mark” icon in the lower left of the GUI window and select “Pilot’s Guide”. This should open a pdf of the manual (v.3.70) where you can find all the information about Preset Compatibility and loading/importing presets on page 14.

oh I see!  You can actually export/import an entire setlist, but not a full Helix backup.  Just tried it and it works.

The bundle option allows you to export/import all setlists in a single operation.
