Helix LT - Expression Pedal working but volume not changing

Hoping someone has seen this and has input... Helix LT (less than 1 year old, bought new), volume pedal works in that the position changes on the LT block display when I move the pedal.  However, the output volume is always 100%.  This is true for patches I've used dozens of times (just used this Helix LT and those patches yesterday) and for a new patch I created with just a volume block.

Anybody seen this / have input?  I've submitted a ticket to Helix but my experience with their support team is not stellar and hoping this is something folks have seen and can be fixed easily.

Thanks

Is the expression pedal assigned as controller for the level on the VOL block?

Thanks for the quick reply.  Yes - these are patches that have worked for months with a Vol pedal block in the signal chain.  When I select the block, I see the volume position change in the block display on the LT when I move the pedal.  However, the output volume does not change.  ALSO FYI - I tried a factory reset with no change in result.

One other bit of info - my global settings for volume pedal are by preset - this means each I switched presets, the volume turned off no matter the pedal position.  The volume is ALWAYS ON even when I switch presets.

Attach a preset where this is happening.

Volume Pedal Test preset attached - also, I've just discovered the volume knob also is not affecting volume.  If I turn volume knob full counter-clockwise, there is still sound output to 1/4" output.  I won't be where I can test XLR output until tomorrow but will give it a shot then.

Hi,

I'm not entirely sure what exactly is happening here.

I downloaded your preset "Volume Pedal Test.hlx" and on the forum it is still listed as 0 downloads. When I try to load into HX Edit it asked if I want to overwrite the current preset, but nothing happens. It appears to be totally blank. To double check I used and on-line Helix Preset Viewer and again the .hlx file seems to be empty.

Even stranger when I check the file info it come up with this:-

https://line6.com/support/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=16503&key=86d2efe43e586ba17c694b993f70c0b9"

Now it should not be showing as an "attachment.php" as that is something to do with the way the server works. Lots of times when people upload pictures and screenshots they also come up a .php files, probably because they were uploaded incorrectly. Did you use the inbuilt "Drag files here to attach, or choose files..." option in the comment box to upload the .hlx file? It seems something has got corrupted during the file transfer. I order to check your Helix file please try to upload again.

Hope this helps/makes sense.

I'm getting the same import problem as @datacommando.

Apologies - I forgot to save the preset before exporting.  More importantly, I got back home today, powered on the Helix LT and all is well.  Very strange.

Appreciate all the input!
