Loud Pops Switching Presets

I'm often getting loud pops when switching presets.  Anyone else get this problem and have a fix for it?  I don't want to have this sound when I'm playing with other people.  Thanks for the help.

That’s sometimes the result of a large difference in the volume levels of the two presets, or a gain staging issue within a preset. First try leveling your preset volumes. Then try using the built-in Noise Gate in the Input block.

Hi Drybonz,

I've had pops occur when specific effects are enabled. If I recall correctly, the Kinky Boost is problematic. Have a look at your presets and see if there is a common pedal enabled in the ones that pop.

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for the replies.  This gives me something to go on.  I found that I can copy a preset and get the pop going back and forth between the same preset, so it isn't a volume difference issue.  I'm looking into how to correct any gain staging issues I might have.  Also, not using Kinky Boost for anything, but I will keep an eye out for any pedals that might be an issue.

Use the same amp.  Don't change the impedance between presets.  Don't have a compressor with severely aggressive settings on either presets.
