i was having issues w/pro tools which are now resolved, but when i went to open the Native plugin, it wasn't showing up.  digi tech support has told me to delete Native from my plugins folder, which i already did.  just now i went and downloaded the latest version of Native but when i try to open the installer it won't open.

is this because 3.71 requires an earlier version to be installed first, or is there something else going on here?

The latest version should install and load just fine. It works just fine in PT for me.

Uninstall the old version using the uninstaller. You MIGHT have to do a registry cleanup before installing the latest version.

Hi,

It’s not unknown for some bits to be left behind after simply deleting Native.

You might want to take a look at the Helix Native Pilot’s Guide > page 6 > Removing Helix Native

Hope this helps/makes sense.
