Helix Floor - How to set Snapshot Display?

Hi all.

Updated my Helix Floor to 3.71 ; my settings have changed and I can't get it back to how I like it.

PRESET channel - 8 presents displayed (obviously this is fine and it shows this)

STOMP channel - 8 snapshots displayed. I can't get it to do this (it was doing it before update). Instead, I can see 3 snapshots with a snapshot cycle and then underneath is 4 of the pedals in the signal chain.

I think I am just being thick but I can't find an answer on here and I have gone through the different options in Global Settings > Footswitches and I don't seem to be finding the answer.

Thanks for any tips/support.

Hi,

Prior to updating your device you are advised to create a backup of all your presets and global settings via HX Edit. After updating the firmware, you then have the option to restore these to your unit using HX Edit.

You may want to check the Helix 3.0 Owner’s Manual - page 13 - Snapshot Footswitch Mode.

Also, check page 66 > Global Settings > Footswitches.

Hope this helps/makes sense.

Thanks for the link, you saved my day.  I recently found a great resource for online casino Manitoba options when I was looking for places to play and this https://onlinecasinomanitoba.com/ website was really helpful in providing detailed information on casinos available in the region. It made it easy for me to compare different casinos and their features. I appreciated the breakdown of bonuses and deposit methods, which helped me make a more informed decision.

Thanks for the link, you saved my day.

^What he said.

In addition to being advised to backup, you're also advised at the end to do a factory reset and then restore your backup.

In the event you don't have a backup, Global >Footswitches - Knob 2.

If I'm understanding you correctly, the unit is defaulting to '8 presets', which is normal, but when you cycle through the modes by pressing both bank buttons, the Snapshot Mode is not displaying as you expect it to?

In this case, check the Global/footswitch setting, Knob 2 is set to '8 Presets' or '8 Snapshots' (at either end of the knob travel) and not one of the intermediate settings - it sounds like it might be set to 'Snapshot/Stompbox'.

Hi all

Thanks for the help. I did backup everything so my Snapshots all still exist. I can access the display of 8 Snapshots if I press bank up and down simultaneously. Am I to understand this is now the only way to do it?

Previously, I could see them all by standing on the top right button that cycles from Preset to Stomp.

Hope this clarifies. I think by the responses, it is going to be the case they have changed the way this works and I won't get what I wanted... :(

Thanks again
