HeadRush FRFR EQ

I recently bought a Helix LT and have been using it with a couple of HeadRush FRFR 108 I have. I've noticed they seem bass heavy when comparing to listening through headphones and also after turning cab/IR's off and running into the effects return of my 5153. I was talking with a friend who had a Helix before with HeadRush FRFR and he said someone published some Helix global EQ settings that can be put into the Helix that compensate the bass heavy sounds of the HeadRush FRFR. I've searched but haven't had any luck finding them. I'd like to try out these global settings to check the results. Does anyone have these they can share like a screen capture of? Thanks in advance.

Here are some settings from another forum for you to try:

1: Gain -6.2, Q 10, 257 Hz
2: Gain 9.0, Q 10, 926 Hz
3: Gain 7.8, Q 0.7, 4.3 kHz

This looks like it takes out some U vowel sound (250 Hz), add some A vowel (1000 Hz) and a lot of E (4 kHz).

Btw: if you find Q values for non-Helix equalizers you need to square them to apply them to Helix.

Sorry - I don't know about any specific Global settings.

However I do know that the Headrest FRFR is bass heavy, but one of the first things you need to do is to get it off the ground and away from reflective corners and walls.

I have the 112 and just use that at home, so haven't needed to set up specific EQ, BUT I'm not trying to achieve anything specific, just use your ears and you'll be able to work it out.

I can attest to that.  This particular FRFR has a hole for the stand to get it off the ground.  That's how it was designed to be used.  Either put it on a stand, or even on top of something else, like a chair, or a transport case for an amp, and it will make a ton of difference.
