titchyblackcat
Hi, I've just updated to 3.8 and the main volume knob doesn't work. Is there a parameter that I need to change ? The manual says the knob is for the output and headphone volume
SaschaFranck
Check your global settings -> Ins/Outs, scroll all the way to the right. There's an entry "Volume Controls" that you can switch from "Mains+HP" to "Phones". I'm sure your global settings were messed up during the update (which is sometimes happening for various reasons). Just set it to "Mains+HP" and you should be fine.

Hi, When seeking assistance from Forum users it's a really good idea to supply as much information as possible regarding the computer and operating system you are using. It is also very helpful to tell us exactly which 2 knobs don’t work anymore. As this thread is discussing an issue that occurred after updating to v.3.80 firmware, then, if your situation arose after updating, did you follow the instructions in the Release Notes about performing a Factory Reset and reinstalling from your backup file? A reset and restore will generally clear any glitches created during the update procedure. Hope this helps/makes sense.
