giannamadeline
Can someone please help, I have created a new preset, added simple pitch block set to -2. But now I need to isolate the low E string, my research is showing I need to click a new block in the chain and add a "split path" but I do not see split path as an option on the list when I go to edit. I just ran an update as well.
silverhead
Two snips from the HX Edit manual pg 31: Split Paths - To create a split (or “parallel”) path, simply drag a block down from the main signal path (Path 1A or Path 2A) and you’ll see a split path (Path B) appear, with both a Split and Merge block created at each end (as shown in images at the start of this chapter). …… Split Crossover: Splits the audio content so that treble frequencies are sent to Path A and bass frequencies are sent to Path B. Use the Frequency parameter to set the center frequency; Any signal above this frequency is sent to Path A, and any signal below this frequency is sent to Path B. If you already own the Big Helix Book of Tips and Tricks you’ll find an in-depth discussion of multiband processing as well as sample presets. If you don’t already own it you might find the cost worth it for this piece alone.
themetallikid
if your trying to create the 'drop c' tuning where the E string is turned down only, that is not possible without a variax guitar. the pitch blocks shift the whole guitar. I use Poly Pitch to shift down to drop C, from a drop D tuning.
