raz_klinghoffer
Hello everyone, I'm currently working on creating separate outputs for an amp and a stereo XLR for live shows, as shown in the attached image. However, I've noticed a small stop sign (red dot) before my 1/4" output. Could someone help me understand why that might be? Is it possible to send two XLR outputs and one 1/4" output in the same preset? Could this be related to LT? Thank you!
silverhead
Not 100% sure but I believe that indicates digital clipping on the path The signal is too hot for the chosen output. Try adjusting the Global Settings 1/4” output, e.g. from Instrument to Line.

Hi, Ah, yeah, that Red Dot is a Merge > MIxer block - they are usually only visible when selected as shown in your 2nd image. The block is there because you initially split Path 1 into 1A & 1B. I don’t think it is showing a clipped signal, or it would cease when clipping was not present on the path. If your Output (the last one in the path, XLR, 1/4” etc) block was clipping then that would glow red to indicate clipping, usually the block would be showing Green. This is described in the Helix LT 3.8 Owner’s Manual on page 10 - Home > Signal Flow View. Also see pages 46 & 47 Split Merge Options. https://line6.com/data/6/0a00051afd86673ccb96424d9/application/pdf/Helix LT 3.80 Owner's Manual - English .pdf NOTE: IIRC, I read a comment somewhere that the red colour may have been a later addition to make it more visible in the editor. Hope this helps/makes sense.
