janstoth
I connect the HX TOMP XL to my computer via USB and the guitar is very quiet in the DAW software. How can I change the volume ratio between the guitar and the backing track?
silverhead
Two ways, both of which reduce the volume level of your computer audio achieving a balance in the levels. You can use your computer settings to lower the volume level that it sends out; or you can use your Stomp XL Global Settings -> Ins/Outs -> USB In 1/2 Trim to reduce the volume level as it enters the Stomp device. Are we talking about recorded tracks here or the amps you're playing through in the Stomp itself?

How can I change the volume ratio between the guitar and the backing track? Hi, When seeking assistance from Forum users it's a really good idea to supply as much information as possible regarding the computer and operating system, and DAW, you are using. We need to ascertain, if it may be an issue with the specific DAW, or your hardware and monitoring system. Anyhow, in this instance, and as it is your first post, the first thing I would suggest is that you download the HX Stomp XL 3.8 Owner’s Manual and read through the section that deals with USB audio and recording on pages 65-68. https://line6.com/data/6/0a00051afe12673ccd29b29f5/application/pdf/HX Stomp XL 3.80 Owner's Manual - English .pdf If you do that and then still have difficulty, simply come back here and post a follow up question. Hope this helps/makes sense.
