axe1174
Hi Folks, I hooked my Helix LT to my tube amp using 4CM and it sounds great. I then tried to add a model amp to my chaain but when i bypass my tube amo and engage the model it very low volume and horrible hiss. What do i do to get the Helix to give me the best of both worlds
Schmalle
If you could post your 4CM patch that would help. What amp do you use?

silverhead
Use HX Edit to export your preset file. The filetype will be *.hlx; note the destination folder. Then make another post in this thread. Below your text you will see a paper clip icon. Select the hlx file to attach it to your post. 1

This means you have two cascaded preamps which would explain the hiss. Also note that Helix's preamps are pretty low in level. Use the preamp's Ch Vol and/or the Output block's Level to compensate.
