Hi yall -

I'm throwing out some feelers if anyone would be interested in trading straight across. my helix LT has literally only been taken from my office twice since i've had it and has sit in but 3 places in the room as I have re-arranged over the years. I'm looking to trade for a rack mounted helix because it would look better in the studio and i literally never use the pedal for anything. First time poster - let me know and maybe we could set something up. I can supply pictures if there is any interest.

by control do you mean power amp?

Hi,

Erm… no! It’s exactly as the name implies- it is a controller for the Rack module. The main rack unit doesn’t have any capacitive footswitches for Preset/Snapshot selection etc., they are on a separate device.

If you are considering a trade up to a Helix Rack in may be advisable to do a little research - start here:

This is the controller part of the rig, and they come at a price - I’ve seen these at an additional cost of anywhere between 20 and 40% of the main rack.

Hope this helps/makes sense.

absolutely, sorry I didn't know the rack even came with a control :S. I don't need the control as I just play here at the house mostly and I'm either clean/dirty in all my jamming with friends. sorry for the noobness - just recently i found out what helix native was haha.

Maybe you should instead sell your Helix and buy yourself an HX Stomp, if you only use a couple of sounds.  It's smaller, and you can get one of those fancy rack drawers, where it can live.

Otherwise, the Helix Rack is more expensive, and it'd be difficult to find somebody willing to trade, unless it is "very" used.
