No Sound with HX Stomp when powered up with Power Station

Hey,

I am building a pedalboard around my Helix Stomp. I want to power it up using the power adapter attached to my pedalboard (Harley Benton PowerPlant - https://www.thomann.pl/harley_benton_powerplant.htm) I also bought a cable for that which doubles the current from two Power Plant 9V outputs (Voodoo Lab HX Curr. Doubler Adapter PPHX - https://www.thomann.pl/voodoo_lab_hx_curr._doubler_adapter_pphx.htm). Stomp turns on normally but I can't get any sound from it. There is no sound in the headphones either. Once I switch back to the original Power Supply everything works as it should. Whenever I connect it back to the Power Plant the sound is gone. Anybody had a similar problem maybe?

The Powerplant has a hint written on the side: "Max combined current for all 9V DC outputs: 500 mA".
The HX Stomp consumes about 900 mA when running.

So the Powerplant doesn't provide enough current / power for the Stomp.

Hi,

If you read through the full post the OP does state: -

I also bought a cable for that which doubles the current from two Power Plant 9V outputs (Voodoo Lab HX Curr. Doubler Adapter PPHX - https://www.thomann.pl/voodoo_lab_hx_curr._doubler_adapter_pphx.htm).”

Seems that didn’t work. All 8 outputs of the HB Powerplant when combined can only supply 500mA.

Hope this helps/makes sense.
