Assigning Presets to Footswitches Helix LT

Been scouring the internet for a memory refresher on how we ended up doing this last time (neither myself nor my mate who did it can remember), so hoping someone here can help. We somehow assigned presets to a footswitch, allowing me to switch from one preset to another whilst in a preset, ie I'll be in 02A but able to switch to 01A with FS8. It's much more convenient this way, as opposed to having to hit the up/down arrows on the left, thus avoiding a second foot click/search. Would love to recreate this for a few other patches, if I can figure it out again...

You can do that in Command Center, but if you want to get back to the original preset you need to have a FS in that preset configured to go to that preset.

IOW - there's no PREVIOUS/NEXT with presets. If you're in 01A and switch to 02A, then 02A needs to have a FS set to go to 01A.

Hi,

I imagine what you were scouring the internet for was this:-

I have posted this link so many times it should actually be a “sticky” item in here.

Steve has lots of videos with clever tips and tricks for Helix users, you should bookmark his YouTube site

Hope this helps/makes sense.
