357mag
I've heard you get 8 blocks. I've heard you get 7 blocks. I've heard you get 6 blocks. I don't know what you get. So what do you get? And that means that each block can hold an effect, like one distortion, one delay, one chorus, one flanger, one amp, one cab etc. Is that how it works? That would be 6 blocks already taken up. Does the unit really come with enough blocks to make a good guitar signal? In the POD X3 series that was capable of sending a wet and dry signal into your recording software. Can the HX Stomp do that?
rwandering
You get 8 blocks. I believe it was fewer in earlier firmware. But I've had a Stomp and have a Stomp XL, and it is 8. Yes, you can get a wet and dry from it; either through USB or using a block for send.
Schmalle
It used to be six blocks but for some years it's eight blocks. Never was seven. You can record a patch's input (aka dry) signal, output signal and send (fx loops) signal (each stereo) at the same time via USB.
357mag
I did not see anything in the manual about recording wet and dry at the same time. I am not very learned at recording.
