End of an life cycle?

I know Line6 doesn't reply on this forum, but I'm asking the crowd here. Do you think Helix Floor is done with updates? Line6 announced to continue the update policy, but it's been a long time since we got something new. In the end, I wouldn't even be mad. This rack is old and got reinvented serveral times for free. It's packed with stuff, sounds great and everything in addition is more of a treat than a necessity. However, I'm greedy. :D

What do you think? Will there be new stuff in the future?

For the 327,743rd time here and on every other Helix forum, NO! There WILL be updates!

Go to the Gear Page>Digital and Modeling Form and search for posts by @DigitalIgloo, (Eric Klein - Line 6 Chief Product Design Architect).

He also posts in most every other Line 6 product related forum - Facebook etc.

Will there be MAJOR improvements/additions? Probably not. But unless he's lying, there WILL be updates.

Thank you for giving a calm and informative answer <3

Sorry 'bout that!

The question really does get asked so many times, usually wrapped in negativity, that I get a bit tired of typing the same thing over and over.

I actually doubt there'll be any updates worth much, if at all. But ok, let's see once there's something beyond (as in: new FX) amps coming up with the Stadiums. Then we will know. One thing is for certain: There won't be any noteworthy usability updates anymore. And these are in fact the things I'd want.

I doubt that any of the new Agoura amps in Stadium will migrate back to OG Helix. It’s a whole new modeling technology and likely not backwards compatible. Remember when the new POD HD modeling technology was introduced? Those amps were never made available in the previous POD XT/X3 devices. I know that a new OG Helix update has been promised but I don’t think it will be substantial.
