Does Stadium ALWAYS send a PC message on preset load?

Recommended Posts

I'm a bit puzzled by this; In Command Center it's possible to send a Program Change message on preset load. I have my Stadium set up with a WIDI dongle, so as I select a Preset on the Stadium that I have assigned a PC message to, it sends the bluetooth MIDI message to my iPad, with Stage Traxx 3, to load the appropriate song backing track on the iPad.

What I'm puzzled by is that when I view the Stadium presets in the main list, and tap on a preset in the list, it sends a PC message to the iPad even when I select a preset that I have NOT assigned a PC message to, in Command Center.

Does the Stadium ALWAYS send a PC message on preset load? If so is there a way to stop that happening?

Got it, thank you.

...  how do I read it/bookmark it etc when I'm on a long haul flight for example ...

I feel your pain as well.  The hyper links and youtube videos being within the manual preclude the PDF version is my guess.

Thing is, with YT videos, we all skip through them anyway, don't we, because we all basically want them to be only 5 seconds long, and explain EXACTLY the thing we don't understand, and nothing else. Or is that just me?!

Uhh … well …. no. Not all of us. If you do, why watch at all?   Let’s see. No ebook manual, no videos, …… So …. you prefer to carry a large book (printed pdf version) with you, especially on planes?

Ha, no, not a printed PDF version - I use Goodreader on both my iPhone and iPad, for all of my pdf's (including many user manuals for different devices). It has a great highlighting and bookmarking system, so it's super easy to find the parts I need, when I'm off the grid, and I can carry a huge amount of documentation around that way
