silverhead
Yes. The app update is to provide file transfer compatibility with the newly released Helix Stadium Native plugin. There is no update required to the Stadium firmware.

jpdennis Posted yesterday at 06:38 AM Share Posted yesterday at 06:38 AM Just for grins, reading the whole info block discussed what 1.3.3 does address, I discovered once I read the whole list in the latest 1.3.3 upgrade section. It actually went with a blow by blow (forgive me Jeff) ************************************************************* Improvements/Bug Fixes in 1.3 Numerous improvements and many, many bug fixes Improvements/Bug Fixes in 1.3.2 Additional bug fixes Improvements/Bug Fixes in 1.3.3 Support for Helix Stadium Native presets Additional bug fixes *************************************************************
Twopods Posted yesterday at 03:11 PM Share Posted yesterday at 03:11 PM Helix app says there is an update for 1.3.3 firmware, and insists I connect HXL via usb, but nothin's happening. Is there a problem ?

But it would have nothing to do with v1.3.3 of the app. That was released solely for preset interoperability with the initial release of Helix Stadium Native. It does not require a firmware update.
Twopods
My bad. It was 1.3.2 Apart from the version everything above is what's happening Still no joy. Everything same as above. XL says "Line6 server not available, check internet connection" when I try to log the unit in, but it's online. ~
silverhead
If I understand the situation now your device is running some version of firmware earlier than v1.3.2 and you are being alerted by the app that a firmware update is available. I’m not sure what version of the app is alerting you but perhaps you can avoid the app entirely by updating directly on the device. Press the Main Menu button on the device. There is a Download icon in the main menu that should show that an update is available. Press that icon to initiate the download directly, bypassing your computer and the app. The download should proceed directly from the Line 6 website using only your router’s wifi connection to the Stadium device.
Twopods
Hi, thanks for your help, but no can do. XL immediately tells me Line6 server isn't available when I try to get it logged in. Hence download button is "unlit" (if you know what I mean ?)
silverhead
Is the XL successfully connected to your local wifi network/router? You should be able to use the WiFi button in the Main Menu to do that.
