Geamala
I have noticed that when I roll up or down the volume pot I get a pronounced hum/noise in the middle of the sweep. Is anyone else having this issue? It is loudest half way. As soon as I back off my volume pot just a bit it is there. Very annoying.
Charlie_Watt
No. Mine does not do that.

clay-man
You might need to get this serviced. I think there's ways to replace the pot yourself, but that requires soldering skills, unless it's one of those new pluggable pots. It also requires care when disassembling the guitar. tomt6257
My 69 does it too but only in the modeling mode. Try it while using the electronic pickups. I reported this to Line 6 and got the "reinstall the firmware or send back to Line 6 for repair" responses. They had me send audio samples of it happening. No explanation of why it is occuring. In my case it appears to be software related not the pot.
psarkissian
Are you using the VDI connection or 1/4" guitar plug and battery? If you're using 1/4" guitar in (with battery), is it a TS (1 insulator ring) or TRS (2 insulators rings)?
Geamala
I've noticed that this only happens on the magnetic pickups and not the models. I am connected with a standard guitar cable. No VDI connection.
psarkissian
Try it with a TRS cable, instead of a regular TS cable. It like to see TRS,... Tip = signal Ring = DC-Volts Sleeve = signal return
