michel101
is there a possibility or a tutorial how to clean up a pod hd 500x and how to reload all the new tones in it with the line 6 editor software I want to clean up some banks completely
silverhead
Search the forum. I'm sure someone some time ago posted an 'empty' setlist. You could then use the editor to load the empty setlist into your device, one setlist at a time. Of course you can create your own 'empty' preset/setlist (probably in less time) by manually removing all the amp/fx from a preset. Then copy that empty preset into all preset slots in the setlist. Then save the setlist using the editor, and reload it into all other setlists. If you want to restore the factory presets (and you didn't originally save the setlists) you will have to reinstall the firmware and choose not to keep existing presets.
cclement
Just a thought... But could you open HD500X edit not connected to your Pod, then save the blank setlist. Then, connect your Pod and import the blank setlist to "wipe" your current lists?
radatats
personally I find the best way to do this is to reflash the latest firmware electing not to keep any current tones. I then do a fresh global reset and pedal calibration. Set my output and pedal configuration and set inputs to preset not global. Now I have a fresh POD to work with. Save one of your new empty setlists to the computer and you are good to go.

Palico
I Saved off the "New Tone" entry by itself as well. It comes in handy wiping individual entries of a setlist just to get mini reset when you need it too.
