"Memory" has nothing to do with it. If the effect fits in the preset - you don't flat run out of DSP - you're good.
I rarely if ever play pure single note lines, so I use the Poly Capo. That is VERY DSP intensive, which forces me to use only the FX required - no "kitchen sink" presets.
Yet, I can usually get what I need by making judicious choices.
Don't dismiss the "Legacy" FX which are often less DSP intensive.
Works for me. YMMV. You MIGHT need a full-fat Helix.
