I tried your solution and it worked. Thank you! I went a little further than the lazy method and unscrewed the footswitch PCB so I could see the micro switches. The one in question had what appeared to be a light amount of carbon around the switch. I cleaned it and applied some Deoxit with the small brush applicator, then blew it out with a computer keyboard cleaner. I did a couple other switches as well. After reassembly and a little time for drying I plugged it in and the glitchy problem is gone. I appreciate your advice on this. All it took was time and Deoxit.
Yeah, I'm having the same issue as well. Come on, Line 6. You have such great stuff, please get this fixed. There seems to be a lot of this happening.
I've submitted a ticket for this, so we'll see what happens.
Hi,
Did the factory reset work for the Pod Go Wireless base unit and the install of firmware 2.05 ?
then did the install of firmware 1,40 for the wireless work , I thought you were saying that the wireless firmware was causing the problem ?
Your update on this appreciated as I think I have the same issue ?
Thanks
Victor
Hi, did you solve the issue? I'm having the exact same problem after updating to 2.06... transmitter not responding, shows a solid dim red light upon connecting to guitar or pod go... cheers!
Thanks PierM, I also settled on this as a potential replacement but like the vof6512, availability is very low or a year lead time. I also found this...
https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/switching-power-supplies/2216388
which is available and seems ok but the power connecter is offset. I think it would be fine but I would rather get a line 6 approved replacement. I'll contact support as you advice, hopefully they will be happy to share the Information I need to get my gear back up and running.
