The only thing "special" about the port on the stadium is its ability to accept what's called an Ethercon connector (if what you say about using a Cat6 cable is correct). It's basically a latching protective cover that wraps around an ordinary ethernet cable. A regular ethernet cable will still work fine in an Ethercon port. He might even have dowloadable starting points. When I first started I paid for about half a dozen from people I found on youtube playing styles I liked and modified and learnt from there. Two stand outs for me were Marco Fanton and Glenn DeLuane.
