  1. I could not find the original thread. It's probably because Line6 changed its forum a few years ago and deleted the older messages...
  2. No it's green and when I highlight the controller there's no trash can.
  3. Hi, About two years ago people here helped me create a controller to switch all the FXs off/on with the touch of a soft button. I don't need this controller any more but I cannot find how to delete it. Can you help me? Thank you. Cheers
  4. Thank you to all contributors. I also connect preamps (the one of my acoustic/electric guitar for instance) since the 12 inputs accept TRS jack connectors as well as XLRs and are labelled as being the Line/Mic type. Also the 4 jack Line inputs are already in use.

  6. But what happens if I send phantom power to Shure SM58s or other mics or preamps that don't need it? Can it be dangerous for the mics or preamps?
  7. Hi, I need to connect a DI needing 48V phantom power to one input. I see in the manual that phantom power can be assigned to the top row or the bottom row of inputs but can it be assigned to only one input. I don't want to assign to several inputs because my other inputs received voice mics or line inputs that don't need phantom power. Thank you! Cheers
  8. It's good for you! It's funny because I'm a convert too but in the other direction :-) I find the tone and feel with my analog amp (AC15) and pedals are much more alive, fun and touch sensitive than with my HD500X into my FR system. I find the modeling route very convenient on stage but the sound has something lacking.
  9. "Trim tracking" was on on the 2 relevant channels because "trim tracking" can be useful. I switched it off.
  10. Would have been much more simple et intuitive to have just Setups.
  11. I still don't understand the reasons behind Setups vs Scenes... What is saved in Setups and what is not, same for Scenes?
  12. Yes it's worrying me because this problem might be back again any time since we don't know the cause. This is very embarrassing in front of your customer or the audience... to say the least.
  13. It could not be the mic cables because 2 mics each with its cable and input were involved and the problem was exactly the same for the 2 mics. I'm sure I did not touch the M20D. I agree it cannot be a hardware problem.
  14. Hi, We are a duet and yesterday just before the gig we had a big problem - the volume of the 2 voice mics was suddenly very low in the front mix. We rehearsed a song and everything was ok. I did not change anything to the M20D and we decided to rehearse another song. This time the volume of the 2 voice mics (and only that) was very low, barely audible in the front mix whereas it was normal in our monitors. I tried to increase the input level, the output level with no results. I decided to recall an old setup memory and scene memory and that solved the issue. The problem is that we had to entirely re-adjust all the parameters, which took some time... What could have been the cause? Anybody already experienced that? Thank you. Cheers
  15. This is FACT for you but not for many customers I know and various forums echo such opinions. The truth is that many ideas, among the most required, have never been implemented.
  16. Fact: Line6 ask its customers to give ideas and there's even a dedicated area for that on its website. Customers give ideas but they are mostly never implemented.
  17. Honestly I was expecting much more from L6. I bought the HD500, HD500X, M20D, L3ms, etc. and I feel somehow let down as a user. I'm not saying that gear is bad, on the contrary otherwise I would not have bought it, but there are obvious problems that were reported and no updates were implemented.
  18. I'd be really disappointed if L6 dropped this system and would never buy anything L6 again. I find that for the price I paid they should already have offered several updates and corrected a few bugs.
  19. Line6 want user ideas, users give them and then nothing! Some of those ideas would be easy to implement and would add value to the HD500X. But for Line6 it's a one-way relationship with the users...
  20. That's all to the advantage of Line6 and not to the consumers. Also, I don't agree with points 3 and 4, point 2 is irrelevant since there's no way to control the M20D using an iPhone, and point 1 is questionable since many developers make Android apps.
