  1. Monitor settings should be saved when you save your settings but this feature is clearly partly unreliable.
  2. Let's say then that we do not have the same idea of what is in the interest of companies nowadays!
  3. If Line6 do not update their HD500(x) they should empower their users to update it.
  4. It's very easy to recreate - Just lower the Monitor FX levels to 0 for instance, switch the M20D off, switch it on and the FXs are high again... :-(
  5. Hi, I noticed that the levels of the monitor FXs were not saved in the setup. When I switch on the M20D, save the setup with the monitor FX levels close to 0 and switch off the M20D, the FX levels (Reverb, Delay, etc.) in the monitors are far too high... How come? Thank you for your help. Cheers
  6. Hi, I have a Telecaster and I need it to sound as close as possible to an acoustic guitar. How would you do that? Thanks a lot. Cheers
  7. Yes but I cannot because I have my acoustic guitar already plugged in the Aux input... I need to plug my 2 electric guitars in the HD500X Guitar Input.
  8. Hi, I have 2 guitars to plug to the HD500X input and so I need some sort of guitar selector pedal. What do you recommend that's the cheapest and is compatible with the HD500X? Thank you for your help. Cheers
  9. Hi, I've just bought a 12 string guitar that I connect to my HD500X and I'm looking for the kind of sound the Byrds have when they play Tambourine Man... the old 60s sound. I tried with the Vox AC15 but it's disappointing... Any advice? Thanks a lot. Cheers
  10. I plug my Martin HD28 with a Baggs M8 pickup to the HD500 with no amp and the sound is not different from the guitar plugged directly to the mixing desk.
  11. Hi, I have the HD500X and a 6-string Telecaster. Can I simulate a 12 string guitar when strumming? Thank you for your help. Cheers
  12. I've read that blog entry and I'm surprised about the 11 gauge strings because that means it's not usable for me for electric guitar parts requiring bends. The strings I use are 9 gauge strings and changing to 11 gauge strings is simply impossible for my fingers :-(
  13. Now imagine you have a guitar that is a stereo pair in inputs 15 and16 and your IEM is also defined as a stereo pair. Would it work?
  14. I use the In-ears stereo model but I cannot do that as far as I can see... My IEM is connected to Monitor Outputs A and B but there's only one icon on the display and the volume of one voice input cannot be increased on one side more than on the other. What am I missing?
  15. Ok I conclude that you cannot pan in monitor mode independently of the main outputs. That would be a useful update IMO...
  16. The problem is that voices are not stereo signals and some other instruments are not stereo either. Even for my HD500 which is a stereo pair I do not see any way of adjusting the monitor pan independently from the main PA (there's only one track)...
