Hello, I upgraded yesterday the monkey and HD500 Edit without problem. I restarted the POD HD500 and did a new calibration of the expression pedal... yesterday all was working fine. However today both monkey and edit softwares don't detect my POD HD500. I restarted the computer several times, disconected and reconected the POD, used several usb entries... no matter, the pod is not detected anymore. I tried to connect the pod to an another computer with old monkey and edit version and the POD is detected without problem. So, this not a problem with the pod. Someone can help me to solve this problem please. This is my main computer to record music :/ Thx

What control panel are you talking about? On the POD 2.0? Sorry but I don't know very well these gears yet :)

:huh: Well, I can't see how have it working without POD Farm. If I don't run POD Farm there is no sound in headphone (connected into UX1) and Reaper detect UX1 but not sound. :wacko:

Yes, instrument is better. However it's necessary to load POD Farm to have sound. I used a new tone on POD Farm but the sound is not as good as the sound I have with POD 2.0 only :/

Hi, I have an UX1 and a POD 2.0 too. I want to record the POD 2.0. Is that possible to use the UX1 as external sound card without using POD Farm? I only want the sound created with POD 2.0 and nothing modified by POD Farm. Thx

Hi Fechart I use the POD HD500 in both Studio Direct Output Mode and Combo Power Amp Output Mode. I own a DT25 but I don't use it to record. Do you have the links to your patches? I'm a hudge EVH fan too! :)

In this case I was trying the decay to 80%, yes. But using decay with 30% don't give me a better quality sound as i want. No matter what kind of reverb I use, chamber, hall, room, plate, etc i still playing in an "iron box". I play generally with headphone. When I record with repear all sound good but not the reverb that's is horrible. When I play with my DT25 I prefer the reverb of the amp that is amazing but I at this time I need to use the reverb on the POD

I really don't understand why the reverb, any kind of reverb on my HD500 sound soooo bad. Whatever the reverb I use, it sounds like I play in an "iron box". It's horrible!! I played around with all kind of reverbs and parameters without success. It sounds like crap. :blink: Do you have some advice to use correctly the reverb on POD HD or something magical?

I just pray for one more amp on HD, the David Bray 4550 is the PERFECT EVH 1978 tone and I NEED that sound to die happy

Hi, I'm currently trying to find the tone for Panama of Van Halen. I think that I'm in the good way but I need a more "in your face" sound. So, if you have some advice to achieve a better sound, I will try my best. I think that the tone sounds too much "suffocated". Hello, When I make some modification on a preset i.e. on the amp or fx parameters, the preset is saved without need to use the save button. Even I swith to other patches, when I come back to the "modified" preset it stills modified. Turn OFF/ON the HD500 doesn't solve. Patches are automatically saved when I make some change. It's annoying. Do you have an Idea of the problem and how I can solve it? Thx a lot
