1. The Manual is live: http://line6.com/data/6/0a06439cb91a5609df67966ca/application/pdf/Helix%20Owners%20Manual%20(REV%20B)%20-%20English%20(%20Rev%20B%20).pdf
2. One more day of summer! Not much time left to announce a shipping date if they're still aiming for an "end of summer" release.

4. There still hasn't been an official date announcement yet. So no, it's not answered. Haha
5. DI just said on TGP that "we're closer than I thought." http://www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/line6-helix.1586637/page-381#post-20596862
6. DI said on the gear page that their European warehouses just received the units, and that they're just waiting on the firmware to finish before putting it in the units via flash drive.
7. I preorderd from Sweetwater August 2nd and haven't gotten any emails or calls about a delay. I'm still trusting DI that they're still on schedule for end of summer. He said he would let us know if the date slips.
8. I think they're showing off how good it is because they know how bad it was in the hd500.
9. My Sweetwater rep said that they're expecting to get thier first shipment in the middle of September, so 9/11 doesn't seem too far off.
10. For those who have tried the Helix, how good is the dmm model? It's pretty tough to get it right because every dmm is different, and they all have their unique tonal character. I liked the dmm model in the hd500, but I hope it is even better in the helix, since they have said that they modeled the actual bucket brigade chips in the delay pedals. I have the zoom g3 right now and am missing the memory man from the hd500 that I sold. It's a key part in the U2 stuff that I play.
11. I'd love to hear this cranked up ac30 type tone in the helix. From what I've heard from the clean ac30 clips so far, I might be able to get something close to this.
12. Nice. Can it also act like a preamp to drive the amp harder?
13. Is there a proper deluxe memory man model like in the hd500? Is that what mod/chorus echo is, or is that just a digital delay with mod?
14. If is an aux or mp3 in you could plug it into there also.
15. Sweetwater has taken the HD500 down from their website. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PODHD500
16. Another great EVH plexi amp that would be great in the Pod.
17. I reset the firmware on my pod, did a global reset, and calibrated the expression pedal. After messing around, I found that when using two clean amps in stereo, it sounds like it is center. When using two medium gain amps in stereo, I get the separation that I want. Thanks again for the help. Mods can mark this thread as "solved."
18. Ok, here is the patch. It's just a basic dual amp setup with no other effects added. Even with the pan controls left and right, it still is dead center through my headphones. Feel free to make any adjustments if I am not doing it correctly. Remember, I am trying to get amp "a" to pan hard left and amp "b" to pan hard right for a separate stereo sound. Thanks for the help so far. Dual Amp Test.zip
19. I appreciate the help, but even without using any effects it still won't pan left and right like it should. The patch I am trying to upload has the twin reverb on channel "a", and the Hiwatt on channel "b." Both are the same volume and are panned left and right respectively. I have input 1 guitar, and input 2 "same." So with those settings and the pan knobs 100% left and right, the sound is still in the center. I know it's not my headphones because music will play just fine in stereo.
20. It says I am "not permitted to upload this kind of file" when trying to upload my HD500 preset.
21. Ok, I'll attach my preset when I get a chance later today.
22. It didn't seem to help at all. Oh well, I'll just stick with panning to center.
