One time my SV212 mk2 stopped responding on stage, and it was resolved by reseating the ethernet cable at the footpedal. The fix for that type of issue is hard to recognize as it doesn't seem to be related to a data connection like this.

...'nothing else works' After checking basics such as power outlet, power cable connections, then maybe a factory reset will get the screen working. *Caution: This will erase any user presets (http://line6.com/support/docs/DOC-4540) The factory reset for the Spider Valve series is to hold the "A" button while powering the unit.

It seems strange they weren't able to duplicate the problem, but then it happened immediately upon reconnecting at your house. I wonder if it's related to the power it's getting or connected equipment (cabling, guitar, midi etc).
